Intuitive eating, body image & eating disorder prevention

Nutrition and mental health professional, helping individuals reconnect with their body and supporting teams with eating disorder prevention and body confidence.

About me

Hello! I am Dr Aline Tinoco, a nutritionist, mental health expert and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor (CIEC).

I work with my clients in letting go of dieting cycles and restore a positive relationship with food and their bodies. My goal is to help people find behaviours that support their health and bring them joy.

I'm a specialist facilitator in body confidence programmes for young people and as research and public health professional, designing and evaluating programmes with and for young people across community, education and physical activity settings.

My Services

I provide a range of consulting services designed to support your intuitive eating journey and improve your body confidence.

For individuals: Intuitive Eating Counselling

Reconnect with your body and practice attunement

The cycle of weight loss and gain is a very common experience. Research shows that between one third and two thirds of people who lose weight on a weight-loss diet will likely regain all the lost weight and more within 5 years.

As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor (CIEC) I'll help you learn the principles of intuitive eating to develop a more enjoyable relationship with food that supports your health, free from dieting and complicated eating rules.

Soccer Training Session

For schools: Body Image Workshops for Coaches and Young Athletes

Rediscover the joy of movement

In their early teenage years, girls experience more body image concerns and teasing, which contributes to reduced rates of participation in sport and physical activity.

I'll work with you to design tailored group coaching to improve your body image and of young people around you, preventing eating disorders and promoting joyful exercise.

For schools: Workshops for Children and Young People

Celebrate uniqueness and boost body confidence

A positive body image can be protective of the harms that weight concerns can have on children's mental health. Promoting body confidence among children is a great way to shift the focus away from appearance and build their self-esteem.

I can deliver interactive workshops that can improve body appreciation for children and young people in your school.

Group therapy

For businesses: The Body Project Workshops

Prevent eating disorders and improve body image

Improving body confidence does more than preventing eating disorders, it improves mood, reduces risk of depression and improves general wellbeing.

I'm a certified facilitator of The Body Project and I can help you and your team learn practical skills to challenge appearance ideals and improve your body image and of those around you, preventing eating disorders and fostering acceptance and health-supporting behaviours.

What My Clients Say

Hear from individuals who have worked with me to transform their relationship with food and their body:

After years trapped in endless diets that never worked, Aline and her approach gave me something I never thought possible: peace with myself, with food, and with my body.

Armida R.

“Facing bariatric surgery filled me with fear and uncertainty, but this journey became so much more than physical transformation. Through Aline’s support, I learned to accept myself, honor my body, and grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. What began as fear became the greatest investment I’ve ever made in myself.”

Monse M.

“Working with Aline transformed far more than my body — it changed the way I care for myself. Through her patient and loving guidance, I learned to prioritize my well-being, listen to my body, manage anxiety, and find balance between my health, relationships, and work. Today, I feel stronger, more confident, more energized, and truly grateful for myself.”
